Car accident! You should know and understand the rules regarding ICBC
ICBC will appoint an adjuster to your claim. This person works for ICBC, NOT YOU. The adjuster’s job is to resolve your claim for a fair amount from ICBC’s point of view, NOT YOURS.

At the Meena Dhillon Law Corporation we work on contingency fee basis for clients with ICBC claims.
Why do we do this? To help clients that are injured in car accidents to access to justice and be fairly compensated. We want our clients with ICBC claims to focus on getting better and let us deal with the big insurance corporation without having to worry about paying us in advance for our legal fees.
What is a contingency fee agreement? This is an agreement between the client and the lawyer that legal fees will only be paid if and only if that lawyer is successful in getting a settlement for the client before trial or being awarded a judgment at trial. The maximum fee a lawyer can charge for a personal injury case is 33 1/3%. The British Columbia Law Society is the regulating body for lawyers in the province and they have set this maximum fee (BC Law Society Rules 8-2).
Remember, at the offices of Meena Dhillon we only recover fees if our personal injury client gets a settlement.

Learn Realistic Self Defense that WILL save your life or the life of someone you care about.

No wasted time learning what WILL NOT work

This is not traditional or sports based training…This Is Real Life

Fighting is not a sport or a game. It is a dangerous activity which can incur onerous legal and medical implications for its participants. This means you!

So………How Long Does It Take to Defend Yourself?

It does not take years to learn REAL self defense, it takes days. If you cannot master a self defense move in 5 minutes it is either too complicated or you do not need it. In REAL life a physical attack lasts only 5 – 15 seconds and takes place in the space of a phone booth. In order to successfully defend yourself you MUST react instantly and decisively to survive. At REDZONE Reality Based you learn ONLY REAL AND PRACTICAL self defense that is proven to work, effectively when you need it. You will learn how to use your natural reflexes to initially defend against an attack; this is why anyone, no matter their age, level of fitness or whether they have previous training can defend themselves or their family. The training offered at REDZONE Reality Based bridges the gap between theoretical fighting arts, and actual street conflict through methods designed to teach the trainee to respond instinctively and effectively.

REDZONE offers the only true complete self defense training – you learn about the Pre-Conflict, Conflict and Post-Conflict which includes the Psychology, Emotional, Physiological and Legal aspects of conflict. This is not about fighting, it is about DETECTING, DEFUSING and DEFENDING.

When you join a traditional martial arts system it will indeed take you years to learn it. This is because you are going to have to learn an entire subculture. In most traditional martial arts schools you will learn commands and techniques in the native language of that art, and that takes time. You will have various rituals and traditions to follow, such as salutations before training, meditation sessions in some cases, and proper respect when entering or exiting the training area. You will be required to perform many repetitious patterns either against the air, a striking device, or against a partner. There are an infinite amount of patterns an instructor can pass down or create and all of this takes time. If you are entering the martial arts to learn a subculture then that is wonderful. Likewise, if you desire to compete in the ring and sign-up with a sport-based instructor then that is admirable. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this, and this is where these systems shine. However, if you are looking to get into the martial arts for self-defense then you want a reality-based system (as sited on www.jimwagnerrealitybased.com).
- Learn Realistic Self Defense that WILL save your life or the life of someone you care about.
- On the street there are No Rules, No Refs and Anything goes.
- This is not traditional or sports based training…This Is Real Life
- No wasted time learning what WILL NOT work

Martial Arts training pre-supposes a nice comfortable, controlled environment. Out in the streets the situation is not subject to any kind of rules, regulations or control. It is totally unpredictable. If you are not anticipating danger, it will be with you before you are aware it’s coming. If you are expecting trouble you will already be taking precautionary measures that will instinctively become part of your life and already they will be averting possible attacks.
Another problem with most types of martial arts training is that it conditions you to a sporting, fair play approach and doesn’t’ prepare you for real fighting in real-life situations. When you develop anticipation and combat preparedness you are not only ready for a potentially violent situation, but realistically and practically prepared to handle it.
Let’s face it, a percentage of the population is not “civilized and nice.” Realize that generally, the cops only turn up after the violence has happened, so the onus is on you to do something, and to do it fast.
If you are not alert to possible attack, then you just might not have the opportunity to react at all, and all your skills and tactics will be useless. Any sane person in this world is under no delusion when he says he is living in a violent society and has to take personal responsibility for his own self-defense

REDZONE is a realistic, street proven, modern self defense system. It is designed to provide ordinary men, women, seniors and teens with solutions to avoid and/or end a violent encounter. Behaviorally realistic techniques are based on natural body movements and gross motor skills. It is a proven method of threat elimination through awareness, avoidance, or by physically defending oneself. This will allow you to perceive danger quicker and react properly. In many cases you will be able to escape dangerous situations without ever having to employ your physical skills. If forced to defend yourself, the focus is on the targeting of vital points of the body, by utilizing core techniques that will function in a variety of situations. REDZONE is not a random collection of techniques, this is realistic, and has to be experienced to be truly appreciated. Call about our open house 604-250-7106
